These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of DetailRay, a software platform designed to help mobile detailers manage customers, bookings, scheduling, invoicing, payments, and mileage tracking. By creating an account or using DetailRay, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
DetailRay provides tools for managing mobile detailing businesses, including:

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it updated.
DetailRay operates on a subscription model. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis via Stripe.
DetailRay uses Stripe Connect to enable you to collect payments directly from your customers. By connecting a Stripe account, you agree to Stripe's Connected Account Agreement. DetailRay does not hold, process, or have access to your customers' payment card information.
You are solely responsible for any tax obligations arising from payments received through your Stripe account.
DetailRay sends SMS messages to your customers on your behalf using Twilio. By using these features, you represent that:
Standard message and data rates may apply to your customers depending on their carrier.
DetailRay includes an optional mileage tracking feature that uses your device's GPS to capture your location when you begin a drive. Location data is captured only when you explicitly tap "Start drive." DetailRay does not track your location continuously or in the background. DetailRay makes no guarantee that mileage calculations are accepted by the IRS or any tax authority.
DetailRay allows you to upload before and after job photos, stored in Supabase Storage. You retain ownership of all photos you upload. You agree not to upload photos that are illegal, infringe third-party rights, or violate any applicable law.
You are responsible for the data you store in DetailRay. We act as a data processor on your behalf and do not claim ownership of your customer data. You are responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to collect and use that data.

DetailRay may offer a free trial period. Once a subscription payment is processed, all payments are non-refundable unless required by law.
We strive to maintain uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Third-party service disruptions (Stripe, Twilio, Supabase, Google) are outside our control.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DetailRay shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, business interruption, SMS delivery failures, payment processing errors, or inaccurate mileage calculations.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time. Upon termination, your data may be deleted after a reasonable retention period.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
